Outdoor Light Sensors The Marlin photocell sensor is used to measure the intensity of outdoor foot-candle light. The photocell measures levels of sunlight from 0%, or near-total darkness, to a brightness of 100%, and these measurements are used to activate preset lighting scenes. The photocell is a useful addition to systems installed in restaurants, galleries, or other areas where the user needs to coordinate lighting with the changing levels of natural light. The photocell is small, fits into a junction box with a ½" knock-out, and connects to the lighting control panel via a three-conductor wire connection. |
